My neighbor does not want to contribute to the cost of surveying, and I want to replace the existing old structure with a privacy fence within my property limits that would benefit us both, but the cost of the survey is greater than fencing the entire lot. It's a pretty small lot (~4K sq. ft.), but the estimates are from low to high $2K's.
